Jason has spent over a decade working with children and families. He specializes in support individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma. He is passionate about anti-oppressive practice and utilizes evidence-based and holistic approaches. In his free time, he likes travelling, playing board games, and cooking.


Counselling is an essential component of mental health services ait offers individuals a safe and supportive space to address their emotional and psychological concerns. Through this therapeutic process, I work collaboratively with clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, By offering a non-judgmental and empathetic environment, I allow individuals to express their concerns openly, helping them gain insights into their experiences and develop coping strategies. The process of counselling is a vital tool in promoting mental health, providing individuals with the necessary support and guidance to navigate life's challenges and achieve a greater sense of balance and fulfillment. My ultimate goal is to support clients in reclaiming their lives and fostering resilience in the face of adversity.

As a trauma informed counsellor, my approach is rooted in understanding the impact of trauma on individuals and the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment. I recognize that trauma can have profound and lasting effects on a person's mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Therefore, I prioritize building trust and fostering a non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable discussing their experiences. I aim to empower clients by validating their feelings and helping them develop coping mechanisms to navigate the challenges they face. Additionally, I emphasize the importance of self-care and self-compassion throughout the healing process. By utilizing evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness, I work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs.
